Welcome to the Medical Journalists' Association (MJA) website. The MJA exists to support and encourage its members and enable them to work efficiently and at high levels of accuracy.
These members are over 400 of the UK's leading medical and health journalists, so this is also the natural point of contact for anyone wanting to:
employ a writer with specific expertise, or
alert medical journalists to events or achievements that deserve publicity
If you are looking for a writer, please email the Secretary

Members can update their database entry by clicking Membership at the top of this page and Update my details on the left hand side of the membership page.
Otherwise, feel free to wander around our website.... If you want to return to the homepage just click on the MJA logo at the top left corner.
The MJA is not responsible for the content of external websites.
Information on the MJA Awards 2008 can be found in Library, Competitions. You can download a voting form, check the finalists and read a biography.
Do you ever wish that your MJA would offer the kind of training you need? We are trying to find out what members really want - click here to download a form and fax or email your feedback to the Hon. Secretary.
Our useful links section is growing - please come and see, and let us know if you have any further suggestions.
We are developing a new service for MJA members and potential employers. Our Looking for work page will enable members to advertise their skills and availability - please contact the Webmaster to take advantage of this service.
